Character 001 is part of the first series of Pretty Normal People and follows the same simple structure as the rest of the archive. The three images are made to work together, giving you a consistent human reference across different scales and compositions without creating an unnecessarily large set of near-identical variations.
The styling is intentionally restrained, leaving room for products, graphics and other elements to become part of the image. The character should bring presence and context to the work without deciding the entire visual story for you.

The character in this set was created using generative image tools and then developed as a coherent series through art direction, selection and refinement. I pay particular attention to proportion, posture, skin, clothing and the smaller inconsistencies that can determine whether several generated images still feel like the same character.
AI makes it possible to explore a wide range of possibilities, but generation is only one part of the process. The archive is built through what I choose to keep, change and leave out.
